In the beauty world, Black women have always had to make room for themselves after brands had excluded them for so long. Makeup brands have been forced to evolve to extend product lines to embrace the diversity that the beauty community has to offer. Making sure complexion products have a wide shade range has become the new norm thanks to brands like Fenty, who introduced the standard of inclusive beauty that every other brand had to match.
