I’m Taiesa Smith, a Public Relations & Creative Strategist.

picture — not just what looks good, but what lands. I approach communication with a focus on clarity, positioning, and how brands show up in real spaces, not just on paper.

I see public relations as more than visibility or outreach. For me, it’s about tone, perception, and understanding how people actually connect with brands in real life. Whether I’m developing messaging, supporting campaigns, or collaborating across teams, I lead with a strategic mindset and a strong sense of brand identity.

EDUCATION 

 

My academic background bridges strategic communication and hands-on industry expertise. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from California State University, Long Beach, where I developed a strong foundation in brand messaging, media relations, and audience-centered communication. My studies emphasized how narrative, perception, and strategy shape the way organizations connect with the public.

In August 2025, I expanded that foundation by earning my Esthetician License, adding a practical, client-facing perspective to my understanding of branding, trust, and service-driven industries. This training sharpened my attention to detail, professionalism, and the importance of experience-led communication — skills that continue to inform how I approach public relations and creative strategy.
